The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking Board-Certified General Obstetrician-Gynecologists (OB/GYN Hospitalists) to join a highly productive, growing, and diverse team of generalists and sub-specialists. Primary location for clinical work will be at the new University Hospital Palo Alto location in San Antonio, Texas.
As an OB/GYN Faculty Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing labor and delivery, consulting on inpatient and ED gynecologic patients, overseeing emergency department and OB/GYN emergencies and performing gynecologic surgical cases. Anticipated initial delivery volume is 1,000 annually.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Medical license (MD or DO) in the State of Texas
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG)
BLS Certification
Experience in labor and delivery, obstetrics, and gynecology
Additional Position Responsibilities:
You are expected to work 14–15 shifts per month, typically 12 hours each. Some shifts may be 24 hours, counting as two 12-hour shifts, based on departmental needs.
May participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
