CGO-Urogyn Center of Excellence
The CGO-Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery Center of Excellence, a newly developed division of The Center for Gynecologic Oncology, is seeking a full-time, Board Certified Urogynecologist to join our expanding multidisciplinary women’s health program in South Florida.
This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape our new Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery service line within an established, highly respected gynecologic specialty practice. This initiative reflects our commitment to delivering truly comprehensive women’s health services through multidisciplinary, innovative care to complex pelvic pathology that include colovaginal, vesical vaginal fistulas, bladder reconstruction, urinary diversion, and intestinal resection and reconstruction.

This position represents a unique opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial physician to help build a premier urogynecology program from the ground up and become the Division Director. There is a tremendous need for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery services in our region, creating an exceptional opportunity to fill a significant gap in the community while building a program with long-term impact and exponential growth potential.
We are seeking a motivated, forward-thinking physician who is a true go-getter. Someone who is excited by the opportunity to establish and shape a lasting Center of Excellence alongside a collaborative and highly respected gynecologic specialty team.
Our established gynecologic and pelvic pain practice consists of four highly respected gynecologic oncologist, a fellowhip trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and three advanced practice providers.
We have numerous practice locations in South Florida in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Our physicians participate in academic appointments with Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in addition to graduate medical education of OBGYN residents. The practice offers are Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship program under the auspices of the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons (SLS).

Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in FPMRS/Urogynecology
- Training and experience in robotic surgery
- Interest in advanced gynecologic surgery and multidisciplinary women’s health care
- Desire to participate in education and mentorship
- Interest in cultivating clinical research in pelvic floor disorders and reconstructive surgery
