Position Highlights
- Highly Specialized, Team-Based Care: Collaborate with four RDMS-certified sonographers, a dedicated diabetes education NP, a perinatal RN, and experienced clinical staff, with convenient access to genetic counseling
- Centralized, Campus-Based Practice: All services located on-site with direct skyway access to Labor & Delivery
- Advanced NICU Support: 36-bed NICU with in-house neonatologists and NNPs
- Comprehensive High-Risk OB Services: Manage complex pregnancies, chronic conditions, and advanced maternal age
- Advanced Clinical Services: High-level ultrasound, amniocentesis, NIPT, diabetes education, and pre-conception counseling
- Balanced Call Structure: Shared call with minimal after-hours disruption —primarily phone-based
Maternal Fetal Medicine Job Summary
Our team includes four RDMS certified sonographers, a nurse practitioner dedicated to diabetes education, experienced clinical staff including a perinatal registered nurse, and convenient access to genetic counselors. All perinatal services are conveniently located in one place—right on the hospital campus and connected to Labor and Delivery by a skyway. The hospital has a 36-bed level IIIB NICU staffed with in-house neonatologists and NNPs.
Beacon’s team of Perinatologists and a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, serve patients with high-risk tendencies in a current or past pregnancy. We offer pre-conception counseling for patients with a complicated obstetrical history, genetic counseling, previous pregnancy loss or chronic medical condition such as pre-existing diabetes, high blood pressure and lupus.
Childbirth is a very personal, totally unique experience for the entire family. Our comprehensive program puts you in charge of this very special event. The health and safety of mother and baby are our number one priority, while at the same time we strive to make your childbirth experience as comfortable, relaxing and joyful as possible.
You will join a highly collaborative and experienced MFM team where strong partnerships and open communication create a supportive, enjoyable, and professionally rewarding environment. You will enjoy close collaboration with our dedicated team of OB Laborists, Neonatologists, Nurses, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, working together to proactively plan and deliver exceptional care for high-risk patients.
Our clinic is located on the hospital campus, ensuring easy and efficient access to the inpatient unit for seamless patient care. Our practice is equipped with cutting-edge GE Voluson ultrasound systems and utilizes GE ViewPoint for streamlined, high-quality imaging and reporting—giving you the tools to deliver exceptional care.

Patient care and treatment includes:
- High-risk obstetric services
- High-level ultrasound services
- Diabetes education
- Pre-conception counseling

- Noninvasive prenatal testing
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible MFM
- MFM Fellowship
Work Schedule:
- Shifts: Clinic shifts are 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
- Call Days: You will cover weekday clinics and share call responsibilities with a second MFM. Call shifts are typically 24 hours (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.). During the day, you will step out of clinic for consults or patient rounding as needed. After hours, calls are generally handled by phone, and it is rare that you would need to return to the hospital following rounds.
