Description

OB/GYN locums coverage in Louisiana with onsite 24-hour call and a defined monthly need of two 24s, with the ability to pick up additional shifts as available.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient only coverage
• Typical work includes rounding, labor management, and emergent GYN surgery when needed from the ER
• Support model includes a CNM who handles their own deliveries and LSU and community physicians who come in and out to deliver as well

Schedule

• Two 24-hour shifts needed per month, with potential for additional shifts
• Shift options include 12s or 24s, maximum 24 hours straight
• Shared delivery volume averages 5 to 6 deliveries per day

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Louisiana license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
